Ingredients

Burguer

  • 6 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 4 cups Cooked Lentils
  • 2 cups Rice
  • 1 Red Onion diced
  • 3 Garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp "Ají Amarillo" Paste optional
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • Sal & Pepper
  • 4 Buns

Burger Toppins:

  • 6 tbsp Sarsa criolla

  • 6 tbsp Mushed Avocado
  • Spinach Leaves
  • Tomato Slices
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 Lime juiced

Instructions

Burguer

  • Set oven at 350 F or 180 C
  • In a hot pan add onions, garlic, ají amarillo paste, then cook until tender, then reserve.
  • In a bowl add, cooked lentils, cooked rice, the onion mixed we just reserved, salt, pepper, cumin.
  • Shape your patties then let them rest on a fridge for at least 10 min
  • In a pan (at medium heat) add oil (6 tablespoons) or 1.5 tbsp, if cooking one patty at the time, then cook your pattie until brown, then bake it for 10 min at 350F or 180C
  • Mix lime juice with avocado, season the other ingredients, put together your burger and server with Sarsa Criolla.
