"Condesas"

Ingredients

  • 250 gr All-Purpose flour
  • 250 gr Unsalted Butter room temperature
  • 180 gr Caster Sugar
  • 1 tsp Sal
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 3 tbsp Cold Water if necessary
  • 1 Yolk
  • 3 tbsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  • Set your oven temperature at 340F or 170C
  • In a bowl sift flour, caster sugar, salt, then add butter, sesame oil, integrate and add water if necessary.
  • make little balls the same size, lay them on a tray with parchment paper.
  • then with your thumb, press them gently in the center, 'till they are a bit flat.
  • Egg wash your cookies then sprinkle some sesame seeds on top, bake them for 25 min or till golden.

Notes

  • For the ones that love cookies, you will see that this recipe doesn't let the dough to rest, that is because the recipe that inspired me was when fridges were not a thing. 
  • This recipe renders 25 - 20 gr cookies
