Hello Lovely Readers , on this opportunity I will share with you my recipe of Hummus, really simple dish that goes great with crackers or bread , actually goes well with everything.
Remember some of the ingredients & tools I use would be at the bottom of the page!
Home made Hummus | 350 gr
Ingredients :
- 300 gr of cooked Chickpea
- 100 gr of toasted sesame seeds
- Juice of 4 limes
- 1.5 tablespoons of salt
- 1/3 of cup of Vegetable oil
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 teaspoon of minced cilantro
- 4 teaspoons of water
This recipe is really simple we blend all our ingredients to form a sauce and thats it, always use boiled chickpea never used canned flavor its 100% better with boiled chickpeas.
Steps:
- Add sesame seeds and oil and water into a food processor or blender, blend
- Then add your other ingredients, and blend again
- The put it on a bowl and enjoy with what a Salad, Toast or plain!
This is a healthy snack you can make when you have a party. also perfect sauce for your veggies, and thats it guys, comment what do you eat your Hummus with?

I am excited to taste your hummus next time you make it! I cannot eat nuts and seeds anymore, so I wonder if this can be made with sesame paste? I love hummus and like to eat it on crackers or chips, but my favorite is to eat it on sticks of celery or something similar. Also I am not fond of a lot of tahini, but a little seems perfect to me so sesame paste sounds the best.
I understand, yes this can be made with sesame paste, you can also made your own sesame paste by toasting sesame seeds and blending them with some olive oil , it make it really tasty
