Hello lovely readers , today I am sharing my recipe of Quinoa con Leche , this dessert is really similar to a rice pudding but instead of using rice we will be using Quinoa.

Some tools/Ingredients I used , will be at the bottom of the post

Quinoa con Leche | Serving: 4

Ingredients :

  • 1.5 Cups of Quinoa
  • 3 Cups of Evaporated Milk
  • 3 Cups of water
  • 3 Cloves
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 3/4 Cup of white sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of raisins
  • 1/2 Cup shredded coconut
  • 1 Tablespoons of Condensed milk
  • 1 Tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt

Steps :

  • In a Pot in low/medium heat add water , quinoa , cinnamon and cloves let it cook for at least 12 min or until quinoa is completely cooked.
  • Once its cooked add , milk , coconut , salt, vanilla extract sugar , condensed milk , raisins and bring to a boil, stir and let it sit for at least 5 min.
  • Enjoy!

I Like to eat this dish cold , but some people like it hot , it is up to you , try this recipe at home you will enjoy it!
