Hello again dear readers, finally we got some sun here in Illinois, and I was wondering what dessert would be nice for this summer so I decided to share with you a simple Coconut Ice cream, there is no way to go wrong with this recipe, with few ingredients you can have a tasty ice cream! Remember some of the tools/ingredients I use will be at the bottom of the post Coconut Ice Cream | Serving 1200 gr Ingredients: This is a simple recipe you can do at home , texture is decent it is not super creamy but it is creamy enough to be a ice cream, give it a try! Steps: Add your milks into a big bowl give it a quick stir Add the rest of the ingredients and integrate them all Transfer your mix into a container that can be frozen Freeze your ice cream for a day or at least 8 hours, and its good to go! You can sprinkle some shredded coconut on top of you ice cream just to add more coconut flavor, I suggest you let your ice cream outside for 5 min before you want to eat it. you can you coconut cream instead of Condensed milk it will work too. Today’s recipe is all about flavor, I love peanuts in Peru we use it for a variety of dishes , sometimes to thick some sauces , sometimes to prepare some desserts, in salads you name it, so I am sharing with you my recipe of Peanut sauce, super easy and delicious. Chicken in Peanut Sauce | Servings: 4 Ingredients : Steps : In a hot pan add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil , cook your chicken 2 min per side then reserve. In the same pan add onion, garlic , Panca paste, peanuts, and let it cook for at least 5 min or until tender , stir constantly Once its cooked blend it (add some milk if needed) and return the mix to to the pan add the rest of milk , chicken, paprika,sugar, salt and pepper if needed, bring the sauce to a boil , turn off the heat and let it rest for 5 min Serve this dish along with cooked potatoes and sprinkle some chopped parsley on top. Hello readers! , today its going to be a quick and easy recipe, Spinach puree is one of my favorite dishes, it has the texture of a regular Puree but it also has the color and some of the flavor of spinach , This dish reminds me of my childhood my mom and grandmother use to prepare this dish often, specially when they were in a rush , all I have to say is that I really like this dish and I know you will too. Links for the ingredients / tools I use on this recipe will be at the bottom of the post Spinach Puree | Servings: 4 Ingredients : Steps : In boiling water add your spinach and let it cook for 45 seconds then , blend the spinach with a cup of milk. Boil your potatoes , peel and mush them Add butter, milk ,the blended spinach bring it to a boil add salt, pepper and its good to go! That is it guys as I said quick and easy recipe you can prepare at home this dish goes well with Meat or Chicken, I just love the creamy texture of the Puree, just to think on it makes me hungry. Hello guys , I hope you are all having a great time, Today I will share with you a simple recipe, some of you might know how easy is to prepare meatballs at home, In Peru this dish is not that common, we prepare it once in a while but is better to know how to prepare this “Staple” dish , you never know when you will have to cook it. Links for the ingredients / tools I use on this recipe will be at the bottom of the post Steps : Lets make the meatballs first, add all your ingredients in a bowl mix them, then shape them into balls. In a hot pot add 3 tablespoon of oil , cook the balls, you have to be fast, 1 min per side, then reserve. If pot is hot ,it wont stick For the Pomodoro sauce , in the same Pot, add onions, garlic,carrots, tomatoes and let them cook for at least 5 min, after that blend them and turn return the mix into the same pot Put your meatballs back again into the pot, add salt, pepper, bay leaf, oregano, put a lid and let it cook for at least 7 min. Serve with some pasta , sprinkle some chopped parsley and Parmesan cheese on top and its good to go! Hello lovely readers , today I will share with you a simple recipe that you can prepare at home , “Anticuchos” is a dish that is traditionally made with Beef Heart, it is a kind of spicy sauce that has a lot of flavors. There are some variations of this dish today we are making one with chicken breast but you can replace it with tofu or any other meat. Some tools/Ingredients I used , will be at the bottom of the post Pollo Anticuchado | Servings : 4 Ingredients: Steps : In a bowl add Chili pastes ,Oil, spices , chicken mix and let it marinate for at least 2 hours or so Assemble your skewers , Onion + Bell Peppers + Chicken In a grill / pan add some oil and cook your skewers 2 min per side drizzle some of the marinate from time to time to prevent it to get dried. Dear readers , recently I uploaded my recipe of “Alfajores” , today I will give you something similar but with a twist, Chocolate Alfajores with a Chocolate Ganache filling! Remember that my social media and the tools I use would be at the bottom of the page! Chocolate Alfajores | Servings: 25 small units Ingredients & Tools: Directions : In a big bowl put all the ingredients except the margarine. Give all the dry ingredients a mix and then add butter ( you can sift the ingredients, it will add some air to the mix making it even greater! Add water if needed(1 table spoon), integrate ingredients make like a big ball and let it rest on the fridge for 20 min. Once rested lets roll our dough, Roll your dough about 1/2 inch maybe a bit more thin Cook it on your oven at 350 F or 180 C for 9 minutes For the Ganache: In a small pot put cinnamon , heavy cream and heat it! Once its really hot add your chocolate and let it melt , stir gently Transfer to a bowl and let it cool for an hour Once it has a good texture transfer the filling to a pastry bag or you can use a spoon to fill your Alfajores Once your Alfajores are filled, sprinkle a bit of caster sugar on top and they are good to go!
